The Good Practice

Generally I avoid painting limes, only because they only show a certain range of shape and color, basically green, shiny and round. Slicing the lime opened up a few more colors and surfaces and shapes. It's always good practice to paint subjects that force you to examine colors and details that you might normally overlook.
